Ordered a large cheese pizza Sat night with onions and meatballs- was hot, fresh and on time. If it's not NY style, it's pretty darn close for this native New Yorker. Crust was thin (foldable!) with plenty of toppings. Will be back.
I grew up on Long Island where there are pizza places everywhere. My parents moved to Barefoot Bay in the 1980s. This was my Dad's favorite shop. We're both huge fans of the meatball parm subs. The meatballs are great and the bread is amazing too!
Wow! I literally thought I was going to die from starvation. I had put off eating and needed something good and quick. Not being from around here I was looking up places for pizza and came across Big Roman's Pizza. Super close was ideal and they were within 10 minutes. As soon as I was ready to order there was a super nice employee to help. She let me know about the 2 slices and a soda special, which I took advantage of. The huge slices were brought out to me, and I wasn't expecting that kind of service from a pizza place, on four plates! I was impressed by the assortment of spices offered. The napkins are awesome and the interior is super clean if you decide the pizza can't wait to be eaten. Overall I would say they deserve 5 stars for every aspect. Thank you Big Roman's for the delicious late lunch I will definitely be back for more.
Definitely THE BEST Stromboli I've ever had 10 years ago & now that I've moved back to the Barefoot Bay/Micco,FL AREA... They also still Deliver and it's always Hot and Ready for the 2 slice pizza w/drink Lunch Combo!!! Don't be afraid to ask for it your way!! Extra Onions or Banana Peppers NO ProblemO!!! Big Roman's Simply The Best!! Party Like A Roman & Go BIG or Go Home!!
UPDATE: 9/29/21: Came all the way down from Ohio for 2 slices!!! Stopped in here for a couple of slices of cheese pie and a soda. This was probably the best pizza i've had in this area for a while. The slices were large, so I didn't eat much of the crust. Good prices too. I'll be back to try some other things.
This place has become my new home for pizza. The guy nick made my pizza perfect not too much or too little sauce and just the right amount of toppings. The sauce is better than most in my opinion. The wife approves as well and come people we all know how the woman in our lives never agree on what we like or want lol. Anyways check them out. Only have had the pizza here and the front end could use a makeover but support the real business people and stay away from that cardboard conveyer belt pizza.
The pizza here was excellent. The crust was thin, crispy and had the perfect chew. The cheese was subtly salty and paired well with the zest of the tomato sauce. You can taste the craftsmanship behind the slice. I will definitely be coming back here for my beach slices
Not much atmosphere as it's mostly s carryout pizza place, we always eat in and the staff is great.
